Welcome to the World Little One !

Laying in the hospital
people all around
bustling and busy
with one distinctive sound.
The sound of which this hospital
should be so very proud,
the sound of new life crying
full of strength, sweetly loud.
Lungs to full capacity
releasing precious breath,
crying for natures comfort,
his warming mothers breast.
Nothing is more beautiful
captured by natures eye,
than the nestling of new born baby
close to mothers, love and pride.

Oh my goodness Cheryl....lol ....No ...to old for babies now, my 3 were enough the youngest being 33 this year. Also have four grandchildren, so they are ''my babies'' now. I wrote this when I was in hospital a couple of weeks ago, for someone I don't even know. I was just laying there in a lot of pain and decided to try and focus on the sounds coming from the room across from me, all I knew about them was that it was her second baby, as the grandma brought the other little toddler in to visit and that it was the toddlers little brother. So I wrote this poem out and got the nurse to give it to them, I was told they loved it and left the hospital before we ever met.
Felt good about writting it though !! Glad you enjoyed it !
