Galleon

Go down

Galleon Empty Galleon

Post  RichieO Sun Oct 19 2014, 01:29

Galleon
Out of the mist it came,
Out of the darkness it sailed,
a Galleon so grand.

Full sails fluttering on a cool wind breeze,
upon a calm and settled sea.
Graceful lines emerge along this ships hull,
creating beauty has she sails silently along.

Cannon's awash upon the gun decks below,
No gunners are seen to be standing by.
With shutters closed against the open sea
The ship is at peace at least, it seems to me.

Three masts stand tall upon the open decks,
Figure head of a lady stands proud at bow
and is pointing the way into hidden sea.

A ship that sails upon a empty sea
In search of a savour, a port of call.
A ghostly crew tread silently upon its decks
has this ship sails, quietly upon this sea.

Long ago a sailor, I be
Sailing upon these seven seas,
A storm is what I remember so clear
But now it seems we're all to be lost at sea.

Sail silently into the mist we go
Never to see our port of call
Time is meaningless to us now.

We shall sail on through this mist
in search of our destiny
Until we find our final
Port of a call.
