Mr Jeff Kernich
As the dawn of a new day arises, I reflect with tears in my eyes,
at the loss of a man so admired, who had such loving and close family ties.
A hard working family man, with community spirit so high
loved to laugh and chat with the locals, praised the lord day and night.
Of his Jersey herd he was proud, nurtured cattle from calf to prize cow,
dairy producing milk and prize cream, JERSEY FRESH, completing a dream.
The dream had become a reality, with his wife three girls and his son,
years of hard work being rewarded, as jersey milk and cream, medals won !
Daily the chores carried out, working from dawn until dusk
working the land, planning for shows and always praising his lord !
C.F.S a big part of his life, always there if folks were in strife
always lending a hand wherever he could, that was the way of his life !
This fifth generation farmer, a true gentleman of his trade
who was so loved by family and community, is now in his heaven above.
Tragically taken from earth, so fast to our heaven so high
no time for hugs or wishes just sudden saddened goodbyes.
R.I.P Mr Jeff Kernich your presence will be so sorely missed
as the angels flew with your soul, our eyes filled with saddening mist.
