Waiting….
I’m waiting for a parcel
It’s supposed to come today
I got up really early
Something special was on its way
I’m looking out the window
I’m jumping up and down
Excitement comes to grab me
But instead it leaves a frown
I’m waiting for a package
They said it’s on its way
I wish that they would hurry up
I just can’t wait all day!
It usually turns up early
I’ve been dressed for hours now
Waiting by my window
In the hope that van will show
I’m waiting for a delivery
I wonder why it’s late
I’m busting for the toilet
But am holding on…oh mate!
Come Mr.parcel man
I’m fretting now its true
I dare not leave this window

I have a special package
For a lady down this street
She's been looking out every day
So today will be a treat
I don't know what is in it
But then its not my affair
I bet she'll jump up and down
By the time that I get there
It isn't really heavy
But its bigger than my bag
So its sitting on my van floor
With a little paper tag
I have a special package
That I will deliver soon
Running a little behind time
But should be there by noon

When the postie comes on by
To nip him at the ankles
Letting all the letters fly
But today is something special
I must surely leave my mark
So I'll grab the ladies parcel
Run off n bury it in the park!
