I was sitting in the parking lot
Me teeth chattering at the root
Whilst the wind whipped up and rocked the car
As though trying to get into the boot.

It whistled and howled through the air vents
And pushed at the doors with its might
It flicked at the wipers and mirrors
Gosh, It put up and incredible fight
It wavered the lamppost before me
As though threatening me out of my seat
All the debris that blew, hit the bonnet
-Which flew o'er two cars in the street!
But i'm sticking it out, for i'm meeting
My Hubby for lunch, in a bit
Not a blustery day could e'er blow me away
For in marriage, I've faced harder ..grit.
