Night time dilemma

Night time dilemma

I spend all day just shaking
Dreading as the hours go by
I cant stop watching the clock
No matter how hard I try

The worst part of my day
Is as it turns into night
I try so hard to stay awake
But it always is a fight

I dread it when its bedtime
I dread the thought of sleep
You’d have to be here to understand
The feelings go really deep

But I guess I have to face it
Regardless of what I said
Fatigue just takes over
And I have to go to bed

So I say good night to the snakes
The hamster and the rat
But the worst thing about going to bed
Is putting out the cat
