Night

Who decided it should be dark
Instead of being light
Who decided we have to sleep
Just because they call it night

So much time is wasted
By spending time in bed
All that time fast asleep
You could be up and about instead

Night time is so quiet
So much that can be done
Nobody getting in the way
Life can be such fun

Statistics prove and it’s quite a fright
The majority of people die at night
So if alive you want to stay
Then work all night And sleep all day

Sounds like you're a nightie like me, lol! I worked nights for many years . . . habits are hard to lay down. But, I love the quietness of the night:-)

Good writing Peter . . . especially know you stayed up half the night to write this, lol!

I'm so used to not having an alarm clock that I sleep really tight
That and working nights I just cant sleep the same as most people
