Love can be quite sad sometimes.
Lost in our expectations,
We take so much for granted.
What was once freely given
We expect without our thanks,
And I’m no diff’rent it seems,
The same with any of you.

In love we are lonelier
Than ever we were alone.
Who could see the difference?
And if they saw, who could tell?
Let them speak. Who will listen?
Then tell them thank you and leave
Them your sigh of indifference.

I wasn't going to put this one anywhere where human eye could see it, but have changed my mind. I wrote this one yesterday, a day before I wrote the positive piece of love and hope. I include this one now to illustrate between the two the uncertain pain of Bipolar Depression. I need no sympathy, just a little understanding when the darker pieces flow. I can no more hold them back than I can hold back the tides. Thanks for reading. Mike
