A Letter to My Inner Child !

Hello Little Girl, so sweet and innocent
who survived so much pain and hurt
that was parental sent
Your eyes would be bright
your face had a smile
though underneath it all,
was this hurt little child
I would just like to say,
how proud I am off you
of your loving and caring
the friendship and sharing
Sharing the pain
we halfed the strain
which helped each of us
make contact again
Contact with each other
that should never have stopped
though because of abuse
we both lost a lot !
I'm so glad I found you
to tell you the truth
that I never stopped wanting
to have you around
You are a true loving child
with adult in tow !
So glad we are refound
and our friendship can now glow
May it be a friendship
that we both learn from
Learn to fight this together
and lets stay out of harm !
