Dear Jin…..

My Dearest Jin, where to begin?
I write to you in poetry verse
To warn you, take heed
Be aware of your greed
Be mindful of stretching your girth.

In this parallel world, I sit in regret
So I warn you young Jin, do it right
No binging, no snacking
For the pounds will be stacking
And it’ll happen so quick, overnight!

Alas and alack…there is no turning back!
Once you’ve fallen in love with your grub
There’s no easy solution
To reverse this pollution
There’s no magic lamp you can rub!

Oh Dearest Jin, if you want to stay thin
Do not stray from the good to the bad
Eat what is good
Like you know that you should
Don’t succumb to the many food fads

I beg and implore, you must exercise more
Make your workout more fun if you will
Don’t end up being fat
You’re much too good for all that
Don’t end your days being old, fat and ill.

Oh dear Jin....feeling a bit bloated today?. Have tried the Sea Food Diet...!!! Yeah you see food then eat it....!!!!
Nice writing Jin, you must have self control when it comes to eating your favourite foods, funny that all the Favourite foods are always not good to keeping ones figure. My unfortunate wieght increase came from giving up smoking many tears ago. I was a skinny thing back in those days.

lung cancer or heart disease..that's tough one...how can you enjoy life if we need to be dictated to and follow a strict regime?

Hmm Lucie, I think that this Government/Society has come to realize that the food we eat today is not of a natural substance.
With Farmer's bunging on quick grow chemicals to increase their crops has a lot to say how healthy we feel today.
Going back over the years there were no quick microwave food stuffs with all the crap they put in it today to keep the food longer.
I aways remember my Granddad always kept a vegetable garden. Our Mums and the schools tried to keep us on a healthy diet, even if we didn't like what we were eating. The saying goes "How can you have any pudding, if you don't eat your meat" (Pink Floyd...A Brick in the Wall)
Most likely in the future our bodies will accept the toxins we endure these days and the bad diseases will be a thing of the past. Happy eating Lucie.
