I will put the lightening tree in to give you a start.

my time on earth is nearly done
at 110 this year will not make another one
no birds come to nest in me because branches are not there to see
my mother is over 300 years and is next to me
she can only grow and shake with the grief of losing me
when born my sprout came through and she shouted oh my it’s you
from that moment on I started to live
her branches shielding from bright light
water dropping from her leaves to nurture me
then shielding again through cold winter nights
and then up in the air again when I was big and was free
there just was no tree that could get near to me
growing firm until that fateful nightwhen lightening came and thunder flashed
huge sound of lightening going through the field and struck my trunk and life had to yield
sparks and flames were blown off me then I looked down and there were men putting out flames from branches on me
the pain was intense and they stared back to see
now it is long past when that day was here no birds came near to me perhaps it was fear but more from the smell of dying and decay no one can save me
no one wants too my mother is there and she shivers with pain
but she can see decay in the trunk on the stain
another year and I will be gone only bare trunk sits and remains
I know my body is bleached by the sun so now its time to make way for the new its time to give up and bow down to the sun
making way for my mothers new son let him mark his way in this life
my time has come to give away this place of honor now I hear my trunk begin to crack...goodbye oh world says ...I
