Being Like The rest
Did you see the way he cycled it was erratic and he swayed,
I did not stand a chance with him he was always in the way,
It was not my fault I hit him as he came,
He should not have had the earphones on and he could listen to what we say.
Those earphones are completed sound,
They listen to music all day,
But never listen to traffic as they go upon their way,
Why do they not listen to things that they know can kill?
They are the youth of our tomorrow but they do not have a will.
If only they would listen to the noise of cars and bus,
They would live much longer and grow old with the rest of us
But no they won the world within the pavement with their earphones on their head,
And another person will say to the police, are they alive or are they dead.
All because of headphones and wanting to show they have the best,
Instead of walking along the road, and being like the rest.
