Start thinking to the future

Sitting here thinking
Doesn’t do me any good
Wanting to give myself a shake
Deep down I knew I should

Falling deeper into this state
Giving up the fight
My mind working overtime
Keeping me awake all night

Friends trying to cheer me up
Working hard to make me smile
But all I do is sit there
Wanting to cry all the while

Doctors telling me I’m stressed
And telling me to chill
Talking so much I get confused
And adding an extra pill

It’s a never ending tunnel
I just cant see the end
Nothing seems to help me
How ever hard I pretend

I guess I need some changes
Take a different tack and fast
Start thinking to the future
And forget about the past
