Sitting thinking

Sitting thinking

If I sit here long enough
I'm bound to think of something
A little light will come on
And a little bell will ring

Every once in a while
Even I run out of ideas
My mind goes totally blank
My transition run out of gears

So I just sit and do nothing
In the hopes that something comes
I don't have much else to do
Just sit and twiddle my thumbs

I could always sleep on it
Could be clearer in the morning
The less that I thing on it
Something will come without warning

Ha what the heck I don't care
It happens once in a while
You'll know when I am on a roll
I will be sitting here with a smile

I like this poem...but Pee We when that dry spell goes away you're at you computer typing away,sharing with us all that you see and know.

I'm not dry any more it was only a day or two. As I say you have so much around you to write about just step back and look around lol
