In a glass screw top jar

Got myself a new house
But it is a bit of a state
So I need to save some money
So I can decorate

So I started saving my pennies
Wouldn’t believe how hard it sounds
See I don’t earn a grate deal
So I cant save many pounds

Started walking to work
Rather than using the car
And put all the money
In a glass screw top jar

Then one night last week
My husband dropped the bomb
“I bought myself a camera
the decorating money is gone”

Well to say that I was upset
He’s not in my good books
I may look pretty calm
But that’s only how it looks

He has to make it up
Major sucking up to do
I want the lounge and bedrooms papered
And the kitchen and bathroom painted blue

I’ll give him buy a camera
No more afternoon naps
He’ll be decorating morning noon and night
Wont have time for taking snaps
