Trapped…

Alone… Just me… All by myself
No one for miles around
Alone in a field… I find myself
No touch… no smell… no sound.

Contained within a Perspex box
Trapped…yet in the open
I can scream, but no one hears
But in my head….I can.

Alone…just me…all by myself
How did I come to be
Trapped within this Perspex box
For all the world to see…

Confined… To stay a prisoner
On show… begging to be free
A butterfly a Perspex box
And that butterfly is …me!

I'm just playing 'catch-up'....
Methinks that sometimes we all feel trapped in a perspex box where we can be seen but not heard....trying to find our way out....silently screaming for freedom. affraid

It is beautiful Jin . . . well, I gave Pete a couple more days with the Winter prompt. There weren't any entries at that point:-) I spect I can put the prompt up any time now. You'll be surprised at the picture:-)

Haha Thanks Bev....somehow my poem doesn't fit in with the prompt as I thought ..... it has a whole new meaning...
Reckon I can fit in a more appropriate one to fit the bill....I'll work on it.

I am mising out on this prompt, blast can't think of anything at the moment. But hey Jin lovely poem I can understand how it feels being trapped in glass case being seen but not heard.....love it Gal... Like
