the view of what you saw and heard
was never far from your mind.
was it fair to say those things
when you did not know the sign?
you said this and they said that, but which way was front and which was back?
Did you think you could read their minds?
you think that after thirty years you know someone with a smile,
but they say one thing new to someone else,
Makes you want to run a mile.
The truth is what you know is there,
but what they said was a total lie.
Now you see them and smile and know that what they have said to others is something that is not true.
they do not care about you!!
they dig a hole and dig it big
they say the things that you want to hear
but the truth behind the face,
is not the truth behind the smile

Sadly many people today have this characteristic ...once you've discovered them , pity them for they'll not admit the fault is their ignorance or arrogance,
..but remain wary.....
