What kind of Poet Am I ?

What kind of poet am I ?
don't know if I really know
Just hear and feel these words inside
then through my pen they flow

Words start off as letters then form into words
down my tounge they travel through my veins in prose
from my heart their sent as some tears drop from my nose
I need to write with feeling that overflows my toes

I love to sit and ponder by the river running cool
watch nature in its beauty reflect colour from the sky
listen to the birds as they tell their daily tale
swooping through water fish in mouth as off they fly

The dolphins they excite me as they play and tease
chasing chartered vessels and small yacht's in the breeze
they stir up rich emotions help create my nature style
keep my words and feelings flowing as they swim their nautical mile

I love to write of family their love joys and woe's
try to give some guidance in my poetical prose
If I see or feel unhappiness I try to turn it around
by writing good strong positives I try hard to be kind

I don't like people hurting feeling sad or unloved
I stir around inside my soul some words are locked above
There are certain words and phrase's that come together well
when that happens easily I feel excitement swell

I love to write with feeling
try to write with love
hope to write with wisdom
giving all of the above

Beautiful 'telling' of your reasons for writing poetry, Sue! I think feelings is at the core of poetry for most of us . . .
