Majesty

I sit here wondering
Who I am,
My mind caught up in hopeless sin.
For a moment I think there is no hope,
Then I call out to Heaven and see a rope.
I climb to the top and
Before my eyes, I see beauty
Reaching across the skies.
There before me is a throne of
Someone who is not unknown.
His eyes like fire, hair so white.
His grandeur and majesty fills the light.
Brilliance all around Him,
As he came so near,
I felt His presence in eternal fear!
But I know His grace is for all mankind.
Forgiveness He speaks for those who find,
Salvation marked in His
Hands, as he touches me and
Then He stands.
Go back and tell all you've seen.
For I have forever made you clean.
One day this shall be your home.
No more will you need to roam...
I, the One who has forgiven, you see,
I am, who I am-Majesty!

Absolutely breathtaking Cheryl. I too love the Lord, though I fall so short of His presence and ideals for my life. It's refreshing to see this type if poetry in our forum. I send out a personal thank you:-)
