ONE EYED JACK

There was a man named Jack,
A one-eyed kind of a Chap.
He walked the way.
The Permanent Way
Of a Railway

The Track it be straight,
With a little twist now and then..!
A Mill at the start
A station at the end.

They call him Jack
One-eyed Jack
He haunts the Mill,
He Haunts the Station
And he Haunts the track in between
He walks the track
with a sack on his back
And his earhole is painted green.

Hi Bev.
A Fable, but where I work at Covent Garden there is supposed to a Ghost of a man who is said to dressed in Top Hat and Tails. The story is he was an actor who played in one the opera houses around Covent Garden, he was murdered close to the station. Well he is supposed to haunt the old signalbox (long gone) on the end of the platform and the staff messroom at the top of the spiral stairs........and he haunts the space in between.
