Biography

Your biography can be as much or as little as you'd like, written in a simple first or third person perspective. If you're new to poetry/writing, tell your audience about your desire write: what draws you to this art, what you'd like to write about, who you read or what authors your admire. And of course folks like to know a little about the person behind the words! You don't need to get real personal, and it's certainly not mandatory. A little something is interesting, though.

Here's a third person bio:

From the hill country of southeastern Ohio,
poet-writer BC Williams' talent for the written
word unfolded during dark days of self reflection.
Early in those writing attempts, she stumbled into the
knowledge that many a struggle and sweet triumph
chew at the heals of a writer's muse.
It's a lesson she'd learned even earlier while
studying voice at the direction of two prominent
Columbus vocal instructors.

Her novice works blossomed in online workshops
and under the tutelage of award winning author
Richard Jankowski, a two time Pushcart nominee.
Her writings have been published in the online
literary magazines: Wild Violet and Utmost Christian,
and in the print magazine: The Storyteller.
Her poem, The Head, will be published in the next
edition of Musings from Clay City U.S.A., Book IV.
