The bank

The bank

I went to the bank
Just the other day
As I had some bills
That I had to pay

I stood there in line
Till I started to doze
As I got to the front
The booth it did close

After waiting for ages
To see the clerk leave
Was hard for me to take
Was hard to believe

Then the window next door
Opened up with a jolt
And the people behind me
Moved over with a bolt

I was so dumb struck
Didn't know what to do
So I just walked over and
Joined the end of the queue
