The words

What was it that you think you saw?

Someone’s quick smile as they went into the door??

Or was it the smile of innocence once more,

Will you say something now?

Did you think you saw a fleeting glance?

Or were they looking through the glass?

Are you looking for a reason?

To go looking for yourself and get into a new season?

Are you happy where you are?

Please say something now?

Now we trundle through what life has given,

Sometimes wondering if it’s hell or heaven,

Then we glance, but only glance and we hear someone say.

But is it the truth what words come forth,

Or is it the words that you think are true?

Is it what is going on?

Or do you just think the glance is more, to justify the words?
