A 'slug!' ..a bloody SLUG you say,
How dare you! I'm a snail.
I don't leave behind a sticky mess,
I leave a shimmering trail..

I'm not thick and brown and stumpy!
I'm pretty, slim and quaint.
My shell's of green and yellow,
-Though it needs a coat of paint.

I'm quicker than a slug, you know
My home's a clean abode,
I have to keep it that way
Cos' I'm always on the road

I'm looking for another place,
That's cosy, warm and right.
-dont WANT to but I NEED to,
Cos' this bloody shell's too tight!

I've searched the garden's perimeter
But alas! found noubt but strife
(OH heck... I wish I was a slug)
With that easier way of life!
