For the many hundreds of times
I’ve sat alone and sang
Not once till now was I lonely
God was my audience
I liked playing through the storms
Thunderous ovations
And music was sweetest and best
With early morning dew
Good weather shanty on the beach
An ac oasis
They say my guitar is worth more
Than I will ever be
It could be that is why I play it
Working to deserve love

Working to deserve love?.. love is unconditional. If only you realised you are loved for all your MANY talents. God has blessed you well.
if I had but one of them, I would pursue it.

I love 'the playing in the storm'. A heavy heart battling against the elements for the loudest sound, to be heard. Accepting the thunderous roar, an applause.
I can relate to the early morning reflectiveness.

Never feel alone. Someone somewhere is reading your masterpiece and hearing your music. Hanging on your very words of wisdom to get them through the day.
