Family Man

Whilst you were still a teenager,
working hard, taking life in your stride
I watched maturity engulf you
as I worked, with your mum by your side

Years did travel by us
we all went seperate ways
though mum and I stayed in touch
sharing our family lifes.

You went through trying times
fought your way back strong
found true love along your path
that you travelled hard and long.

I've seen you several times this year
on happy, joyous times
have seen the man you have become
seen mum cry happy and proud tears.

A family man, you have become
with two beauties in your life,
your lovingly created daughter
and your soon to be, beautiful wife.....
