There was a Time..... Empty There was a Time.....

There was a time in my life
when I was young and quite naive,
when I needed someones guidance
and a haven to retrieve.

A friend with whom I worked with,
new my sad dilema,
spoke to both her parents
then hung a ''welcome banner''

Our house is your house,
her parents said to me
my heart did start to flutter,
did this mean I'd be pain free.

My friend, to her did tell,
my feelings and my thoughts,
how safe her home did feel to me,
yet in sadness I was caught.....

So wanted my mum with me
to me my lowest time...
my friend she turned and said to me
''my friend, our house, is now your home''.

There are people in this world who turn up out of the blue. For they will show you love and kindness beyond belief. God bless those Angels of mercy.

That was so heartfelt and beautiful. My mother died when I was 17 and I had a very similiar situation. Thank God for loving generous friends, right?
