RESPECT
The small branch stands exposed
And the mighty wind blows
It blows the branch, that tries to stand upright,
But has to bend to the force of the wind.
The branch grows stronger and the wind has to get stronger to bend the branch.
It grows and around it the ground and the other trees give it the respect it is due, do you see someone who is weak? Do you give them respect to grow or do you stand and blow?
A tree of old stands in an avenue of others younger than it is
It stands tall and talks of the days when it was young
But some of the young start to have a go
They know more about life than he does so they make him shy away from all
He is no longer tall he withers and dies
The young one stands tall and smiles he has won
But has he has he really won or did he undo all that the tall tree had taken years to perfect
