Five
Five little babies sitting in a row
One little baby waves hello,
The other four sit on the floor and didn’t know where to go.
Five little babies sitting on the floor,
Looking to see who comes through the door,
One little baby he passes wind
With little babies that is the in thing.
Another little baby sticks his shirt into his mouth,
The others giggle as if to say what that is about.
Now a little baby starts to smell,
All the others screw up their noses but will not tell.
Mummy comes in and she can smell.
Ohh a naughty little baby wants his nappy to be changed,
Were you like the baby? You were!!!! Which one?

Modern Day Thought
You put your foot into the grass it sinks but no noise does pass
You smile as you walk through the trees, letting your feet dance in the undergrowth,
The birds do sing and animals at ease, this is how it all should be.
Then well into the woods you step, you hear a snap and the bird song goes to warning!!
You walk away disappointed and have to wait until morning,
But you persevere with what you are taught; it might help you get dinner in the end,
You never know what animal or bird is around the bend.
Thirty years on and you try and teach this skill
To your own children in a forest near home,
All they do is sit and moan,
‘We have been brought up on concrete and stone’
Why do we need moccasins and bow?
Go to the supermarket that is where we grow,
All this silent footwork was good for you
But we have a computer and we have a mum
Add one to the other and the end of the sum
Is food and wellbeing for us all in the house?
Oh and by the way we don’t need a cat, we love the mouse.

yes Fred, its true what with the ever changing times we evolve, we lose what was important and made us who we are today.
