My earliest recollection
Of my sister (who's the best)
Is a blonde haired, blue eyed toddler
Wearing nothing but her vest!

I recall the pitter patter
Of her tiny running feet
Whizzing all o'er the groudfloor
With a pink and blotchy seat.

Ah bless her, always smiling
Only clothes would make her glum
The freedom to be running wild
"Was best" exclaimed our mum.

She widdled down the hallway
She widdled by the stairs
She widdled round the kitchen
So you've soggy socks, who cares?

The little mite was happy
She was the apple of your eye
And to hell with all the carpets
Just s'long as she didn't cry.

Its true. The pattern was disgusting
It took ya mind off all the smellies
But the warm wet surprise, I did despise
Just wished mum had bought me wellies!!
