Only once, I vowed to say the words
That pledged my love and life
To honour and respect our dreams
And share them as your wife.

Only once I learnt to live with
A make a house our home
To nurture, love and inspire our kids
To fulfil their dreams and roam.

Only once I give my heart to you
To hold and keep it safe
To spend the rest of eternity
Not to crush and scar and chafe..
