The frost being mean
The Frost Being Mean
The sun rose one frosty day, the frost said I am strong just go away,
The sun it shone and it said I will win
No you will not the frost said with a grin.
Day after day the sun came and went away,
The power of the frost too great for his shine,
This is winter and it is my own time,
The sun was in a mood wanting revenge
But the frost just laughed and got harder by day,
Got more force at night and came back with a grin,
There is no way you will ever win.
Then one day the sun rose to a beautiful sky,
The wind was no more, the cloud oh so high,
The sun bore down with the power he had
The frost heard a crack and tried to make more
But the sun had created a daughter for the frost and the ice,
He called her water, and she started to run,
Did not listen to dad just wanted to run and to play,
He tried to keep hold but she just ran away,
Then the sun began to torment the ice and the frost,
Just admit it now I win and you’re lost,
No more frost and warmth on the ground,
The sun had many friends and the frost just slinked away,
Come on sun said everyone give us some love,
And they looked up to the heavens above,
And the sun did smile, he reigned supreme,
He was good and the frost was.....just mean
