Worlds apart in life –
Yet drawn close as unlike poles,
And like attractions,
I need a magnetic field
To ease our living apart.

Not myself today –
Cleopatra’s Anthony,
Or Wanda’s Michael?
Living in the past more now.
Then was then and now, today.

At my Waterloo –
How distant I am from me.
More than hope has died.
I look over the landscape
Still waiting for your return.
