Goodbye All....I'm Off!!

Goodbye All….I’m Off.
I’m getting rather miffed at what
Life has in store for me
Because so far, it’s been awful
And I’m longing to be free.
Of all the daily strife I get
From all at work and home
Shall I pack my little suitcase?
And jet off to sunny Rome?
Oh I long for sunny beaches
Of the Adriatic sort
With a good book held in one hand
And in the other…one large port
And will anybody miss me?
Well maybe one or two
Or should I simply take it
Tell me now…. would you?
I’m tempted by the brochure
And I’m yearning for some sun
But I guess I’ll keep on dreaming
And maybe, get this ironing done!
