The Last Guitar Empty The Last Guitar

Post  mikeschultz Fri Feb 03 2012, 09:14

Music in harmony is as a blossoming flower.
It opens out from itself and lifts its face to the sun.
Petal notes flutter with the chords from a well-played guitar.

The wind, the trees, the blowing breeze, two-part, three-part, or four-
Part harmonies in the sounds of nature’s own Hiabun.
Music in harmony is as a blossoming flower.

The singer sings on and strums and plucks and picks without fear.
Fingers like a spider trace in magical momentum.
Petal notes flutter with the chords from a well-played guitar.

The singer plays awhile and then sets it in the corner,
The last guitar the singer would ever need to welcome.
Music in harmony is as a blossoming flower.

Dew drops reflect the night sky and the twinkle of each star.
The singer’s voice is silent but the heart danced as phantom
Petal notes flutter with the chords from a well-played guitar.

Such joy, such exquisite Joy as bring tears to a lover
Draw closer to happiness that may never be undone.
Music in harmony is as a blossoming flower.
Petal notes flutter with the chords from a well-played guitar.
