Kindred spirits of different climes
An ocean in between,

Friendship in bonds of poetry,
Hands across open seas,

Sharing rhymes in pensive poems,
Pen to paper to eye,

Poems and letters between friends
Who’ve not seen each other

(And it’s likely they never will),
But who share more than most.

I couldn't have put it better Mike!....Who would have thought that we would have so many wonderful friends that we know so well but have never met.
To me , my friends on Bpoetry are my second family...so supportive and loving....xxxx May our friendship continue to grow for many years to come and who knows, we may even visit a few one day on our vacations, I do hope so....xxx sunny

oh i miss writin to me pen pals... shame that we all grow up and let life take over..for then, who have we to share it with?
