Ebbing

A bizillion grains of chrystal coloured sands
Sifting slowly yet softly between the fingers of my hands.
As the waves wash in and the waves wash out...

The wonderous waves of the ocean, so vast
Rushing ebbs, ever nearing until the laps trickle past.
As the waves wash in and the waves wash out....

The magic wet beach show where footprints have been
'Till a wash of a wave says they were only a dream.
As the waves wash in and the waves wash out...

The blackheaded gull on the lookout above
never detered by the beckoning sea, playing rough.
As the waves wash in and the waves wash out...

All the crabs clamber rocks, clinging barnicles hide
held on with such strength as they ride with the tide.
As the waves wash in and the waves wash out...

The sun beats down with glinting rays to warm
and me, I sit, with my life thoughts to transform.
Still the waves wash in and the waves wash out..

Thank you. I love the Beach and to watch the sea, i enjoy watching and learning about the many wonders it holds beneath.. but at the same time as being drawn to, I am petrified.
