Competitive Behaviour

So when did this obsession start
Do tell me, don’t be shy
This competitive behaviour
To always do or die?

I commend your effort for trying
To get one over on me
But darling you must realise
It will never ever be.

For I am oh so cunning
And I know your little ploy
To always have the upper hand
You play me like a toy

You see my love, I know you well
We are so close, its true
So I have written this little ode
To get my own back over you.
