Of all the men within the world
With their most important roles
The one's I admire mostly
Are the FATHER's and their goals.

Not the ones that visit now and then
Nor those who's time is hit and miss
But those that read you stories
Tuck you in at night, with a kiss.

Not ones who're borne from riches
And throw you gifts you do not need
But those that teach you values
And sow the inspirational seed.

Never a father who will act the brute
who bully, hurt and maims
But one that reinforces good
Through understanding, trust and games.

The importance of a father
Is as needed as the air
To model strength and compassion
Nothing else can near compare.
