The sixth day of February, sun has risen fast
Clipper ship 'City of Adelaide', in dock with no 'masts'

Her turmoil continues, on Palanpur she remains
resting there majestically, with not to many restrains

Cranes are to the ready, public standing firm
cameras to are waiting, as the sun lights up her frame

Adorned with flags of sponsorship, patiently she waits
Clipper ship 'City of Adelaide', waits with little constraint !
