Where does this life channel us?
For our future path is etched
Surely we're just pushed along
Cos' dreams are too far-fetched.

Have you met a man who fished for stars
That hooked a mighty dream?
Where then could he have taken it,
For what could he redeem?

Our story is already written
By our ancestors and fate
We are factors of our circumstance
Very few can e'er relate.

What does this world become of me?
What teachings must I learn?
And how might I discover them...
What experience must I discern??
