The Piano Player Empty The Piano Player

Post  Robert Anderson Thu Aug 16 2012, 15:44

I wrote this around life really. in the wee small hours , I hope you like it xxxxxxx

The Piano Player

A piano can be broken up
,or wounded down
Like a clock without the frown
Like the soldier without his crown
Tick, talk, shout or SWAK
but tok? the mouse ran down the clock?
And the music lives on forever
In this, here, my jest and never
Like the memories of the contours
Of skin that enhances
Beethoven already ensures
Don’t believe a word they say
The piano keys are what you play
In black and white throughout the day
It only takes one brush to sway
The vein that bloods with rush
But waist the day away?
So skip and jump and talk
Then walk
Tick tok, up the clock
For when I’m chalk
As dust will come,
Under ground
Or over some formiliar mound
Now I beckon, blip, blip, blip
The batteries you replace

Are only second space
To where I find my lace?

Like the weapons of mass destruction
I found my own induction
Now look to thy own infliction
And deal within distinction
I rest my case
