Dawn

Dawn, it breaks
Across a the sky
So slowly it raises
It head to shed
New light this day

Dawn, the start of
A new unborn day
Untouched by the
Hand of man
Awaits its new fate

Dawn, the raising
Of the sun so red
bright and crimson
Is born and bred
New life is fed by
This crimson red.

Dawn, so innocent
So pure in its light
brings a new day.
The sun slowly rises
burning off the
Early morning mists.

Dawn, it’s mystery
Softens the night
Into the morning light
The horrors of darkness
Are lost to lightness
Of a new born sun.
Take heed and believe
In this new day to bring
Happiness and joy for you.
